Grown with Love
All our seedlings come from Mum & Dad's nursery, 'Heritage House', in Katikati plus we propagate many of our own plants right here in our own nursery.
Growing Our Plant Babies
We have a number of green houses to keep our babies warm, watered and cosy while we nurture them through to being big enough to transfer to pots for making available to our Kereru Gardens customers.
Time & Love
After 2-3yrs, our plant babies have grown big enough to be ready to transfer to pots and can be moved outside into the main Kereru Gardens nursery.
Potting Out
Once our plants are big enough to handle and are strong enough to live outdoors, we transfer them into bigger pots to give them more room to grow while they are in the nursery. This is always a busy time of year for us so it's all hands on deck at the potting out table!
New Plants Ready to Go
After a good watering, Kat and her helpers bring the freshly potted plants out to the nursery where they will await another happy customer to give them a new home.
